Subcision

Subcision is a procedure that uses a specialized needle (Nokor) to break fibrotic scar tissue pulling the skin downward. By severing these adhesions between the dermis and subcutaneous fat, the depressed scars are lifted and skin regeneration is stimulated. It is especially effective for treating deep acne scars and boxcar-type scars.

療程注意事項

Subcision is most effective when pus is accumulated in the acne. Do not squeeze the acne before visiting.

In rare cases, depending on skin type, the treated area may temporarily appear slightly indented. It usually recovers naturally over several months.

Avoid alcohol, saunas, hot baths, and intense exercise for 7 days after the procedure.

Be sure to apply sunscreen when going outdoors.

Avoid using scrubs or peeling products during the treatment period.
